What is blind signature?

Blind Signature

Blind signature is different from general digital signature.

The general idea of digital signature is to generate a string of numbers that can only be generated by the sender and cannot be forged by others.

This string of numbers is also an effective proof of the authenticity of the information sent by the sender of the information.

The difference is that the signer of the blind signature does not know the specific content of the signed message, and only proves the authenticity of the signature at a certain point in the future (as a notary).

Has the following properties:

The message signed by the signer is invisible (this is the meaning of "blind"), that is, the signer does not know the specific content of the message he signed.

Signed messages are not traceable, i.e. when a signed message is published, the signer has no way of knowing when/when he signed it. Note that the properties of generic signatures (unforgeability and non-repudiation) are omitted here.
