Solution to Hardware Connection with Extensions of Google Chrome

In some versions of Google Chrome (especially the ones released at the end of October 2025), users may encounter issues where hardware cannot connect to extensions. This issue is often caused by the local network access check feature in Chrome.

Solution:

Access the Chrome://flags Page:

Open the Google Chrome browser, type chrome://flags/#local-network-access-check in the address bar, and press Enter. This will take you to Chrome's experimental features page.

Disable Local Network Access Check:

Find the "Local Network Access Check" option, which is usually set to "Default." Click the dropdown menu and select "Disabled."

After setting it to "Disabled," the browser will prompt you to restart Chrome. Click "Relaunch," and Chrome will restart and apply the setting.

Test Hardware Connection:

After restarting, try reconnecting the hardware to the extension and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection.
