Wallet Address Verification & Passphrase Switching Guide

Before performing asset operations (such as receiving or transferring) using TokenPocket App with KeyPal 2 hardware wallet, always verify that the wallet address matches between the app and the device to prevent misoperations or security risks.

🪄 Step 1: Verify Wallet Address

1.Open TokenPocket App and go to the “Receive” page of the target wallet.

2.On the KeyPal 2 device, open the same wallet and view the displayed wallet address.

3.Compare the address shown on the app and the device:

- ✅ If addresses match, you can proceed safely.

- ⚠️ If addresses differ, switch to the correct wallet in the app (see below).

📱 Step 2: Select the Corresponding Wallet in TokenPocket

1.In TokenPocket App, navigate to: "Linked Hardware Devices → KeyPal Management → Manage Wallets”.

2.Find the corresponding wallet name (e.g. BOB, BOB1, BOB2).

3.Open that wallet and verify the address again on the “Receive” page. - If still mismatched, switch the Passphrase on the KeyPal device.

🧩 Step 3: Understand Passphrase Mapping

🔄 Step 4: Switch Passphrase on KeyPal 2

1.On KeyPal 2, go to “Security Settings” → “Passphrase”.

2.Enter the Passphrase corresponding to your target wallet (e.g. for Address A, enter PassphraseA).

3.To return to the no-Passphrase state, select “Don’t use Passphrase” or leave it blank.

4.After setup, return to the TokenPocket App and reverify the wallet address.

⚠️ Security Tips

  • Always verify the wallet address before every operation.

  • Entering a wrong Passphrase will access a different wallet — keep records safe.

  • Forgotten Passphrases cannot be recovered and will permanently lock the hidden wallet.
