When connecting, app displays: “The hardware wallet does not match the wallet linked to TP Wallet."
This message indicates that the mnemonic phrase associated with the hardware device linked in TokenPocket does not match the mnemonic currently stored in the KeyPal hardware device.
Note: Before proceeding, make sure to save the mnemonic phrase of the hardware device that needs to be reset or the mnemonic phrase linked to TokenPocket. Otherwise, asset loss may occur.
If you want to use the mnemonic phrase associated with the hardware device linked to TokenPocket wallet, you must reset the current hardware device and re-import the mnemonic to connect to TokenPocket.
1. Reset the hardware device:
Go to the main page of the hardware device, select “Security” → “Reset Device.”

2. Re-import the mnemonic:
After resetting, the device enters initialization mode.Re-import the backed-up mnemonic corresponding to the address into the hardware device.
On the main page, select “Import Wallet,” follow the device instructions, enter the correct mnemonic, set the PIN code, and complete the wallet import.

3. Connect TokenPocket wallet and KeyPal hardware device:
Enable Bluetooth on the KeyPal hardware wallet (Settings → Bluetooth → On), then enable Bluetooth on your phone to connect.
Select the hardware wallet address, go to the “Receive” page, tap “Verify,” and once “Verification Successfully” appears, the connection is successful.

If you want to use the mnemonic phrase currently stored in the KeyPal hardware wallet, you must delete the matched hardware device from TokenPocket and add the current device.
1. Delete the device already matched in the app:
Open TokenPocket, tap the “...” in the upper right corner, enter the wallet details page, tap the hardware wallet icon, and select “Delete”.

2. Match and add the current hardware wallet address:
Open TokenPocket, tap the “+” icon on the home page, select “Hardware Wallet,” and tap “Add New Device” to search for the hardware wallet. Enter the pairing code displayed on the hardware device.
After successful verification, select the blockchain networks you want to add and generate the wallet addresses. Finally, in “Receive” → “Verify,” if the message “Verification Successfully” appears, the connection is successfully matched.
